During a recent morning, I was dealing with some personal issues that had me really emotionally charged and just acting in a manner that was totally uncalled for. During my emotional meltdown, I said some really mean things to someone that really should be the last person that I should treat in such an awful manner.
After a bit of cool off time, my senses came back to me and I felt really compelled to pray for repentance for my behavior. Coincidentally (or not), I happened to notice a church located on a block that I often pass by, but never realized was there. The first thing that caught my attention was a huge sign outside by the door that said, “Visitors welcome.”
So visit I did.
I walked in really with no intention other than to find a nice quiet place where I could just be still and pray.
Within a few steps, I passed by this painting and immediately couldn’t help but chuckle out loudly.
In my mind I’m thinking, “Ha, check this out.. Jesus just chillin’ with some Chinese kids.”
I guess I found it particularly amusing since not once or twice, but actually more than a few times, I’ve encountered individuals who upon finding out about my faith make the comment, (more…)
I want to wish a [[Happy Birthday]] to a friend, spiritual mentor and good brother of mine, Jaeson Ma aka JMa. As we celebrate another year of your time here on this planet, I pray the Lord continues to lift you up in His glory! May He fill you with more wisdom, clarity and courage.
JMa is probably the only guy that I know who would rather give a gift on his birthday than to receive one. So he gives us his latest musical offering, Glory.

At today’s church service, the pastor gave a sermon on Jude 1:24-25. Afterwards, he asked everyone in attendance to take out a sheet of paper and pen. He suggested we take some time to think and write our own doxology.
He gave us a simple phrase to start with.

At first, I tried to really put a lot of thought and concentration into it. Eventually, I just wrote down what was in my heart at the time.

change my life for the better that I could not do on my own accord, using me as a walking testimony of His glory.
