From the world premiere screening to the official theatrical release of the film, I’ve watched Bruce Lee, My Brother a total of three times (so far).
I must say, each time was just as exciting. However, the third time was an exceptionally enjoyable experience as I watched the film with an entire theater full of special guests that included family, friends and members of my HK fanclub..
To commemorate what would be the 70th birthday of Bruce, here’s an oldie but definitely a goodie. I swear, this interview never gets old..
My manager/partner/mentor/good friend Carl Choi is in Hong Kong so I met up with him today and had a nice pow wow over ice cream. We were able to do some major planning and prepping for 2011.
It was good to catch up with him and just plan out projects for the upcoming year which includes music, film and other ventures. God is great!
Unfortunately, he’ll be headed back to LA before Nov. 25th which is the official release date of Bruce Lee, My Brother.

I was so inspired that at that exact moment, I made a firm decision to plan and shoot a nice little visual for “I’m In Hong Kong”.. in Hong Kong.
Only problem now is, I don’t even have the full mp3 version of this track myself.
At worst, I’ll shoot the video to this uploaded version.. but if anyone happens to have this track, I’ll take it.
You know how some people say that every dream has a meaning behind it? According to them, dreams can be interpreted as symbolism for something that’s happening or soon to happen back in the real world when you wake up.
I’ve never been one of those people.
However, I do be having some of the most random dreams. Ever so often, I wake up with very clear memories and visuals of exactly what took place during that night of sleep. I have to admit, sometimes it even feels like I just came back from an alternate existing world. Definitely real Twilight Zone-ish type stuff.
As I go about my daily business, that clear and vivid picture just fades away, eventually (more…)
